6’3 2021 Undre Lindsay, “Hidden Gem”
Playing for South Carolina “Eight, Six, Four,” 6’3 rising senior Undre Lindsay had one of the breakout performances of the day. In a come from behind win, Lindsay was simply sensational. He poured in a game high 40 points, including six 3-pointers. Standing a strong, muscular and athletic 6’3, Lindsay did just about everyone you could ask for. He was tremendous in transition and finished at the rim with consistency and authority, hit a few midrange jumpers, knocked down 3-pointers, and hit a nifty floater in the lane.
The two-sport star for Gaffney High School simply had no quit in his game. Trailing by as much as 20 points, Lindsay played equally as well on the defensive end of the court. He has the ability to guard multiple positions, anticipate the passing lanes and is an excellent rebounder for his size/position.
Currently, Lindsay has committed to play football for Howard University. He’s an exceptional quarterback, but is also a scholarship level prospect in basketball. In addition to his spectacular performance, we got a chance to speak with Lindsay after the game. We were so impressed with his manners and maturity. Everything was “yes sir, no sir.” In addition, Lindsay also sports an impressive 3.5 GPA in the classroom.
