The Phenom Grassroots TOC is this weekend in Rock Hill/Fort Mill, as it is the first LIVE Period with Phenom Hoops this season. The talent pool runs deep throughout and we want to give college coaches a leg up on who to watch and who will be in action. Here are a few players to check out for each team, presented by the head coach.
NLPB TN/VA/NC
35 Connor Simcox,
Class of 2024,
6'5" PF, Led East TN in rebounding as a sophomore avg 13 rpg. Strong, physical, and has the ability to control the paint. Scores well inside and has great vision and ability to pass to teammates for open shots.
22 Ryan Robertson,
Class of 2024,
6'2" Guard, Ryan has the ability to take over the game at times. Can score from all 3 levels and can get to the rim often. Ryan has developed into a leader and continues to get better each tournament.
3 Eli McMurray,
Class of 2024,
5'11 Guard, Eli can score all 3 levels consistently and is a great defender as well. Competes all over the floor and is a leader on the team. Able to create his own shot.
11 Logan Cassell
Class of 2024,
5'11 Guard, Logan is a player that has the ability to knock down 3’s consistently from all over, great range, and has proven to be a solid defender who gets multiple steals and deflections every game.
2 Charlie McHugh,
Class of 2024,
6'1" Guard, Charlie can play multiple positions and is able to knock down shots, as well as create for teammates. Finishes at the rim well.
