High Point 16 10 22 10 58

Standouts:

Wren High School:

2021 Bryce McGowens: McGowens showed why he is one of the top prospects in the country.  A long, wiry 6'5 frame, he did a little bit of everything for his team.  He can play multiple positions, initiate the offense, spot up from deep, or finish strong/over defenders.  McGowens has such a calm demeanor on the court but knows how to turn it on and take over a game.  Stats: 24 points, 6 rebounds, 7 assists, 2 blocks

2020 G Tez Frazier: Frazier helped led the offense on the floor, showing off his vision and feel on the floor multiple times with no-look passes; making it look easy.  Time and time again, he made the extra pass to the open shooter, as well as play lockdown defense on the other end of the court. Stats: 12 points

2021 W Josh Owens: Owens is a workhorse type wing player for Wren. He does the dirty work and plays with a strong feel for his game. Time and time again, he finished through contact and attacked the rim, as well as rebound. Owens' motor on the floor was impressive and his ability to finish strong around the rim as well as knockdown jumpers makes him difficult to slow down. Brings a ton of energy to the floor and does the dirty work. Stats: 12 points, 4 rebounds

Other Stats:

High Point Academy:

2020 G Isayah Owens: The senior guard was one of High Point's consistent scorers, attacking the off the dribble, getting defenders on his hip, and finishing crafty around the rim.  Owens had a nice touch on the ball and found a lot of success when he was in attack mode. Stats: 22 points
