Kill Devil Hills, NC – Local high school programs will face off against nationally ranked players as Phenom Hoops will partner with Chad Williams to host the 2nd Annual Good Guys vs. Cancer Showcase, at First Flight High School. The event will be December 13-14, general admission tickets will go on sale the day of the event and will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis. Limited VIP reserved seating will be offered online, with sales starting November 15.

Named sponsors of the 2nd Annual event are OBX Chevy Buick, Twiddy Realty, BSN Sports, Pizzazz Pizza, BEFCOR, The Farmers Daughter and First National Bank.

Chad Williams started the Good Guys vs. Cancer event in honor of his father, Guy Williams, who succumbed to the awful disease just three weeks after the original showcase. However, Guy fought long enough to experience the first showcase, although unable to attend, which brought a smile to his face. The event, in Guy's memory and name, will benefit cancer research as proceeds from this event will be given to the American Cancer Society.

The 2019 Good Guys vs. Cancer will feature 21 teams. Locally, First Flight, Manteo, Pasquotank, Camden, Hertford County, Hatteras, and Ocracoke will be taking the floor. Other Eastern North Carolina powers will include Kinston, Farmville Central, Trinity Christian, Pender, South Central, East Carteret, Plymouth, and Little Washington. Landstown and Trinity Episcopal are coming down from Virginia while Myers Park travels from Charlotte and Word of God from Raleigh.

Farmville Central and South Central won state championships last season, while Word of God starts this season ranked among the nation's top programs.

The 2019 Good Guys vs. Cancer will feature Top 35 prospect, and Duke commit Henry Coleman as well as Top 10 prospect, and Michigan commit Isaiah Todd. Also participating is Alabama quarterback commit Drake Maye, brother of UNC great Luke Maye.

First Flight High School is in a basketball centric community, who has shown they can pack out a gym with an awesome atmosphere. Players in this year's Good Guys vs. Cancer are committed to the likes of Duke, Michigan, NC State, Boise State and NC Central. Joining Todd and Coleman in the national rankings is Kinston junior Dontrez Styles and Farmville Central junior Terquavion Smith.

The 2nd Annual Good Guys vs. Cancer Showcase is also incredibly excited to announce a partnership with The Hoop State Network to live stream games. The Hoop State Networks is the most professional and skilled streaming app on the market, with a heavy emphasis on showcasing North Carolina in the most qualified manner.

The number of eyes who will be fixated on Kill Devil Hills, North Carolina for this two-day event will be immense.
