2023 Silas Demary Jr., one of the premier guards in North Carolina and in the country, recently made a visit to Southern California to check out the Trojans more, a program that has already offered him.  Making the trip out to California, we got an in-depth interview of how the trip went, what he was able to see and do while there, and his thoughts after the visit.

He also has an upcoming visit to Raleigh to check out NC State. Here is what Demary Jr. had to say.

Phenom: How was the visit overall in your eyes' What were you looking to find out more about the Trojans'
Demary Jr.: The visit was good. My family and I enjoyed ourselves and I went out here thinking how I can fit into their playing style since they were telling me they are now using a 2-lead guard playing style when before, they were playing through the post. And also, how is the environment and looking at the campus.

Phenom: Were you able to talk to the staff there' What were you able to discuss and talk about' How do they want to use you'
Demary Jr.: Yeah, I got to talk to the staff. We talked about my fit and how I could come in and be an impact and they want to use me alongside another guard. They want to push the pace, which I like.

Phenom: What outside of the basketball facilities impressed you' What was it like being across the country from where you are today'
Demary Jr.: The campus is very intriguing.  It was actually not that bad being across the country. I had worried about it at first but once I got there, it was pretty good.

Phenom: Did anything change about your opinion of the program after the visit'
Demary Jr.: No, I had a really good experience going into the visit there, so I just wanted to go out there and enjoy myself.

Phenom: What is next for you'
Demary Jr.: I have a visit to NC State this weekend.

Phenom: What is your excitement about that program and what do you want to learn more about'
Demary Jr.: I just want to see what all they show me and get a feel for how much they want me to commit there.

Phenom: Any other visits you have planned after the Wolfpack'
Demary Jr.: I don't have any others planned as of now.
