Player: Jordan Speller
Class: 2027
School: NC GBB
Recently viewing some incredible talent at the Queen City Classic, we were able to get our first glimpse of a very talented team in NC GBB led by head coach Ty Cox. When speaking to coach about his team earlier, he had mentioned that he had a young prospect to really watch out for in 2027 Jordan Speller.
It didn’t take long to see what he was talking about with this young prospect, as Speller quickly grabbed our attention with what she displayed. When watching her game, how she operated, and her skillset only as an eighth grader, Speller showed why she is going to be a big-time prospect in the coming years.
Already holding a few offers, we have a feeling that her recruitment is going to take off even more, sooner rather than later.
When you talk about her game, Speller is an elite guard that has a skillset that you simply don’t see from players at her age. She is electric when the ball is in her hands, as she sees and reads the floor exceptionally well, plays at a great pace, can get where she wants when she wants and is a playmaker on the floor. Speller is unstoppable with her ability to create, get paint touches, and be an effective scorer from all three levels. That doesn’t mention her speed and her toughness as a guard; Speller has such a balanced feel and brings tremendous balance on the floor. She also isn’t afraid of the bright lights and wants the ball in her hands, she can simply be dynamic.

And again, we are talking about an eighth grader, so her story and game are just starting which makes her only scarier. Put her down now, before it is too late.
