One of the best big men in the region, 2026 6’10 Will Stevens has been having a strong season in helping lead Davidson Day as they have their eyes on another championship. Stevens has been in command of the paint all season long, being a consistent scoring presence down low with terrific touch as well as being able to step out. Defensively, Stevens continues to thrive as a rim-protector in altering shots and walling up defensively.
Phenom Hoops caught up with the big man at the Phenom Mike Gminski Classic, as we sat down to talk to him about his game, his development, and focus in helping lead his team. We also were able to talk to him about the latest in his recruitment, with a big offer coming from Texas Tech recently.
“It felt good to get that offer; my mom went there and played there,” Stevens said about the Texas Tech offer. “I visited and liked the campus, so it really felt good that they had me on the radar and offered me.”
