The Lady Top 80 was an off the charts camp bringing elite talent from around the region all under one building.  There was plenty of talent that shined in a big way, and one player that certainly earned recognition was 2026 5’4 Stephanie Mobley.  She ultimately walked away with MVP honors in the Class of 2026, as she was consistent with her presence throughout.

Mobley really was able to demonstrate her feel, her understanding, her IQ, and her ability to be an impact player on the court.  Game after game, she was able to flourish with her offensive game, whether it was scoring or making the right reads.  Mobley has good quickness and creativity in her game that allows her to mix it up offensively; finishing well off the dribble but also knocking down shots consistently from the perimeter. But again, she played within the offense and made unselfish plays to her teammates.  Defensively, she was active, engaged, vocal, and a leader on the court, being that spark for her team in a variety of areas.

We fully expect her to continue what she has shown over the years this upcoming season, and college programs should be taking notice.

Lady Top 80 Evaluation:

“Starting things off, we look at a player who simply knows how to set the tone on both ends of the floor, Stephanie Mobley. She’s a smart, quick, heady guard prospect with excellent vision and a lethal penetration sense. Mobley handles the ball with care, creates opportunities for others, and finishes well around the basket. She can also knock down jumpers at a solid rate. Mobley is a terrific defender who contains her assignment well and forces turnovers with consistency. Next in her development process is working on her ability to move without the ball, as it would allow her to play alongside another point guard more seamlessly. Coach Reece on Mobley: “Stephanie was easily our most vocal player. Great communication and energy. Stood out as a definite spark for us. Great complementary play from either guard spot. She has a solid overall skillset with drive-and-dish ability. Also, a high-impact leader with a great playmaking sense. She can improve on her off-ball movement.” Mobley did a lot of things well at camp, earning the 2026 MVP Award, and should be a key piece for North Meck over these next few seasons.”
