We are continuing to look at players this upcoming season, and Christ School certainly has been building a strong resume over the years. Last year, this was a roster built with several key seniors who stepped up in a big way along with other big-time talent. Now, this roster will look a bit different with several seniors gone and new names looking to step up.
One new name for this roster to watch out for is now 2026 Dacen Petty, who was at East Rutherford but will now have a chance to shine for Christ School.
Petty is an underrated prospect in North Carolina, and he has been a consistent producer on the court. At East Rutherford last year, he was off the charts in filling it up the state sheet, scoring the ball effectively (26.1ppg) but also rebounds, facilitating, and making plays on the defensive end. Petty will now be at Christ School, as they look to replace key seniors from last year, and the 6’4 prospect has a chance to shine on the big stage again. He will be counted on to produce and step up once again for his new school.
What Has Been Said:
“2025 Dacen Petty led the charge today for his team. Was active and assertive, especially in the first half, scoring from an array of levels and getting to the free throw line consistently.”
“6’4 ‘25 Dacen Petty (NLPB) is applying strong pressure in transition. Physical guard with great size, toughness, and defensive instincts. Forcing turnovers and pushing the break well.”
