The Phenom Team Camp brought teams from all over the state of North Carolina to one building, as Session 2 lived up to the hype just as much as Session 1 did.  We saw several players that have a chance to play at the next level, but one we were eager to see and learn even more about was 2026 6’9 Rivers Knight with Jordan High School.

Knight has been a player we have watched on several occasions in the past and even a small bit with Combine Academy last year. One could easily see the intrigue and talent that Knight has in his game, and he only continued to develop last year again some premier talent. And we were very interested in seeing his game and being a key focal piece now back at Jordan High School. He didn’t disappoint, as he was able to flourish inside and out, displaying his feel and touch from an array of levels.

Knight has great size and a tremendous feel around the basket, showing strong footwork and feel, touch over the shoulder, finishing through contact in the paint, and is excellent on the boards on both sides. But he was able to show his ability and comfort level in moving around on the court, running the floor, being able to put the ball on the deck at times and attack, and also being a serious weapon from the perimeter. Knight has a confident and fluid release from behind the arc, showing his versatility as a big.

Now with Jordan High School, we can only believe that Knight will have a bigger impact and role in helping lead the charge for this team. Right now, he holds multiple offers and several other schools have been expressing interest his way, as his recruitment will continue to pick up.
