The 6’3 guard at Legacy Early College has been having a strong start to the season. 2026 DeZhon Hall has been flourishing well with his new team and helping lead the charge overall. Hall has been producing in a big way this season against some elite-level talent, proving that he is a prospect to really watch more down in South Carolina. Phenom Hoops recently caught up with the point guard, asking more about his adjustment and development, along with some of the latest in his recruitment.
Phenom: How has everything been going this season so far? How have you fit in with your team and find your role?
Hall: Everything has been going pretty well. Every day, we have been becoming more together as a team. It was an adjustment the first couple of games, just trying to get a feel for everything, but as time goes on, myself and the team are getting more and more comfortable with each other every time we step on the floor.
Phenom: How has your game continued to develop?
Hall: Pretty well! Just working hard to continue to get better at the things I’m pretty strong at and heavily working on things that I can improve on for not only this year but the next levels as well.
Phenom: What has been going on recruiting-wise? Who has been the latest?
Hall: Wisconsin, Texas A&M, Louisville, Ohio State, Arizona State, South Carolina, and Seton Hall. Those have been the ones staying strong.
Phenom: You took some visits already. How did those go overall?
Hall: Ohio State unofficial, Wisconsin official. Ohio State, the coaches’ energy and the environment was great. My Wisconsin visit was also great. The upset game against Arizona was one of the best games I have been to. I have a really good relationship with the staff.
Phenom: Do you have any visits down the road set up?
Hall: I’m in the process of scheduling visits to Louisville, Texas A&M, Arizona State, and South Carolina currently.
