Class: 2025

AAU: Aja Wilson Elite

There was plenty of talent that rolled through the doors at the Phenom Lady Rumble, and we are hoping to spotlight a few players more on our platform.  One player that really intrigued us and played with a tremendous feel was 2025 Trinity Jones from Mauldin high school.  Jones was such a valuable piece to her team; she has a great pace in her game, a smooth and confident release, makes high IQ decisions and reads, and shows she can be an effective and crafty prospect on the court.  She plays like a veteran on the floor, and college coaches have been noticing.

She holds multiple offers already and she recently added another after the event from Wofford. We spoke to Jones about the latest in her recruitment and game in our latest 1-on-1. See what she had to say.

Phenom: How was your visit to Wofford, what did you get to do, and what are your thoughts on the program now that the offer is on the table?
Jones: So, it was definitely a great experience. The coaches are amazing and they made sure to have great hospitality. What stood out to me happened to be how many students they have; they only have 1,800 students but they also have a great graduation rate.  Overall, I had a really good visit and got a good feel for Wofford.

Phenom: What other offers do you hold?
Jones: Coastal Carolina, Presbyterian, North Carolina A&T, South Carolina State, and North Greenville (along with Wofford now).

Phenom: Have you made any other visits?
Jones: I’ve visited Presbyterian and Coastal Carolina.

Phenom: What are you hoping to show more about your game this summer with Aja Wilson Elite?
Jones: My shooting ability and how I’ve expanded my range.

Phenom: How would you describe your game?
Jones: I like to get to the rim. I have a very mature game.
