Phenom Hoops was able to check out the talent down in South Carolina once again at The Bash, an event that never disappoints with the talent on display. That continued this year at the event, as one player that really grabbed our attention and has been catching the eyes of several high-major programs was 2025 6’10 Nigel Walls.

At the event, Walls averaged 18.0ppg, 9.7rpg, 2.3apg, 2.0spg, 1.0bpg, and shot 58 percent from the floor; he also averaged 2.3 three-pointers made per game, a stat highly impressive for someone at his size.  This included a 31-point showing on Day 2.

At the event, we had this to say:

“Walls is such an intriguing prospect at 6’10, especially with how fluid he moves and his comfort from multiple levels. Ability to move around the court, run out in transition, create off the dribble, and also be active in the paint and with touch.”

“Walls had a strong opening day but backed that up with an impressive showing, going for 31 points to lead his team in a big way. Walls was off the charts, using his size but showing just how comfortable he is from so many levels. He finished with 5 3-pointers but was scoring from all levels.”

Walls’s blend of size, skillset, ability and fluidity, and versatility is so intriguing to watch, as he truly can show that he can operate from multiple levels, step out and knock down shots, is comfortable in making plays off the dribble, and battling down low with touch and on the boards.  He flourishes from so many areas on the court and can impact the game in a variety of ways.  Which is why he holds some big-time offers.

We spoke to him quickly about his recruitment, and he mentioned that schools like Oklahoma, Alabama, TCU, Kansas State, Arkansas, and Oklahoma State have all been recruiting him strong and standing out. He also mentioned that Texas and Houston have now entered the picture and have been expressing interest his way.
