What Has Been Said by Phenom Hoops:

“Getting an updated view of 2025 6’8 Kareem Stagg at the NBPA Top 100, he reminded us at Phenom Hoops why he is one that schools should be looking at more and making a priority. Stagg is an interesting prospect with his blend of size, skillset, and physicality. His ability to impact and bring value at an array of levels makes him very intriguing. He moves well, is comfortable inside and out, can embrace being physical around the basket and through defenders, is quick enough to get around bigger defenders but also bully his way against smaller opponents, and with his comfort level from the perimeter, Stagg can take advantage of several opportunities. And you add that to his ability to be a strong rebounder, one that can attack the glass and push, his ability to be a force at the rim, and impact on the defensive end, Stagg clearly produces and should be a high priority for so many college programs.” – NBPA Top 100 in 2025

What Does This Commitment Mean to Georgia:

Georgia is off to a great start for the Class of 2025, as they have added another commitment from 2025 6’8 Kareem Stagg.  Stagg now joins Top 100 prospect 6’8 Jacob Wilkins, giving the Bulldogs to really strong commitments to build on.  When talking about Stagg, Phenom Hoops was quite high on what he brings and what he could potentially provide to the Georgia program. His blend of height (6’8), frame, strength, and skill set are quite intriguing and make him a tough matchup that should be able to bring positive minutes to the team.  He knows how to impact the game in a variety of ways, especially with his ability to be effective from multiple areas on the floor, being able to create and attack against smaller defenders but also be quicker than bigger opponents. Stagg takes advantage of the matchup given to him and being part of the SEC, he should be able to handle opponents with his physicality and athleticism. Georgia looks to be having a very strong recruiting class nationally.
