Phenom Hoops had the opportunity to head out to the SEROS Camp out in Lincolnton, NC, giving us a chance to catch up on an updated viewing of several players you have and will be hearing about more around the country. One player we were eager to see during the open run was 2025 Kaden Magwood, a player we have watched on several occasions as of late but will now be a new name here in North Carolina.
Walking out of the camp, one could easily see that Magwood was ready to make a statement here in North Carolina. Magwood plays with swagger and confidence in his game, being a strong athletic scorer from multiple levels and playing with something to prove. The 6’3 guard continued to show how dynamic of a scorer he can be, picking his spots, showing tremendous range and lift on his jumper, his athleticism and shiftiness to make plays off the bounce, his competitive nature, and how dynamic he can be in making plays for himself and others. Magwood has a quick twitch and can be decisive in his ability to score along with a quick burst, and he shows that he can fill it up.
That was on full display at the camp, and he looks ready to make it known here in North Carolina.
