Ardrey Kell is having a tremendous season and one of the biggest reasons why is the play of senior guard 2025 6’5 Brett Freeman. Freeman is having his best season ever, as he is posting averages of 28.6ppg, 2.8rpg,3.5apg, and 1.6spg, being the true leader on the court for his team.

His play has certainly sparked interest from programs and more eyes his way.  Recently, Phenom Hoops wrote about his stellar play when watching him at the Phenom Lakesgiving, where we had this to say:

“reeman though proved that he is a college-worthy prospect and would be a nice addition at the next level, especially with his versatility, what he provides with his size, and certainly his offensive capabilities. He is shooting nearly 60 percent from the floor and 50 percent from three early on while also averaging 4.0 assists, 4.0 rebounds, and 1.5 steals per game. At 6’5 he cannot only run the show and be a scoring force, but he can also create a tough matchup for opponents. He does a great job in creating for himself, using his size against smaller guards and attacks downhill well, showcasing athleticism and finishing ability. But Freeman is a multi-level scorer inside and out, as well as finding ways to get to the line. He has a smooth feel, takes what is given, and simply scores the ball at a high level; he can be tough with just how shifty and creative he is.”

Freeman also recently posted on social media that he made a recent visit to Tennessee, as we spoke to him more about his time, what kind of relationship he has built with them, and who else has been showing interest.

Tennessee Visit and Other Interests:

“It was a great experience and atmosphere,” Freeman told Phenom Hoops. “They welcomed me and have been speaking to me a lot, especially Coach Gainey. They want me to come back up actually but I have to get the dates right and aligned. The coaching staff though was great to me, and I had a great time.”

Freeman spoke more about his discussions with the staff at Tennessee during the visit.

“We talked about the game and how they game planned Arkansas, and they showed me the facilities and what they do daily. I spoke to Coach Barnes, and he asked how I liked it and that he was glad I came. He had me in the locker room with the team and everything.”

Tennessee may be in line for another visit down the road but in speaking with Freeman more, he also mentioned that coaches from Florida State had spoken to Coach Mike Craft at Ardrey Kell, while St. John’s and Auburn also reached out.
