Down in Rock Hill recently at the Adidas 3SSB Championship, Phenom Hoops had a chance to watch several prospects in action and one that we came across to watch was 2025 6’9 Terrion Burgess with the Arkansas Hawks.

The long, lengthy prospect brought such an intriguing game to the floor, but you could also see that he is still a developing big that will only get better. At the event, we had this to say about his game:

“2025 Terrion Burgess is such an intriguing prospect with his length and size. Moves really well around the floor, covers space, and can help alter shots as well as be an offensive weapon. #3SSB #3SSBChampionships #PhenomHoops”

With Burgess’ game, he is one that can make his presence felt in a variety of ways.  At 6’9, he really shows a nice ability to score with touch and in a variety of ways, but he is one that can use his athleticism to help on the boards and alter shots.  His length makes him very interesting with his ability to cover multiple positions, step outside along the perimeter, alter shots for opponents, and can score be an offensive weapon in running the floor and finishing well.

We spoke to Burgess more about his summer and his recruitment in our latest 1-on-1, as he is a name that several schools will be recruiting hard.

Phenom: How did everything go this summer' What were you hoping to show more about your game'
Burgess: It was a great experience. Anytime I get the opportunity to grow and learn, it is always great.  My jump shot, pushing the ball, being able to be a mobile defender, rebounding, and just an overall aspect of getting better.  I want to be able to guard all five positions.

Phenom: How have you been improving your game'
Burgess: Understanding space, shooting more mid-range and getting to my second move when my initial move does not create enough space, and shooting the three more efficiently.  As well as how to play without the ball.

Phenom: What all offers do you hold and who has been showing interest'
Burgess: My offers are Memphis, Missouri, Ole Miss, TCU, Texas A7M, Arkansas, Auburn, Arkansas-Pine Bluff, Texas Tech, Central Arkansas, Kansas State, and Oklahoma. Schools that have been showing interest are LSU and Michigan.

Phenom: Any schools you have planned on visiting or want to visit down the road'
Burgess: I will get with my family and discuss school visits based on their level of interest. I’m still amazed and excited about all the schools that have offered me and have reached out to me and my family.
