Players around the country are starting to make visits to programs and 2025 Colt Langdon, a 6’8 prospect from Millbrook, has been making a few over the last few months including his latest to East Carolina.

Langdon was able to take a trip to Greenville, North Carolina to check out the big-time matchup between the Pirates and NC State recently, as he was able to take in the atmosphere, the game, and speak to the East Carolina coaches. This is what he had to say after the visit.

East Carolina: “The visit to ECU was fantastic. I got to tailgate with the team, tour the facilities, and watch the game. We talked with the coaches about my game and how they think they can turn the program around with the new coaching staff.”

Phenom Hoops then asked his thoughts on the program from what he saw.

“I think they will be good. They have a good coaching staff, facilities, and talent to be an NCAA Tournament team.”

This isn’t the first visit for the rising sophomore here in North Carolina, as he has also posted visits to Virginia Tech, Virginia, and NC State, all of which came in the month of August.  Langdon first went to Raleigh, which is right down the road, and then headed to Virginia and Virginia Tech.  Here is what he had to say about each of those visits.

Virginia Tech: “VT was really cool.  The location is beautiful, they have a great arena, and I really like Coach Webster.”

Virginia: “UVa was awesome.  The campus is beautiful, and the facilities are second to none.  The coaching staff was great.  I had a great long talk with Coach Bennett, which was impressive.”

NC State: “NC State was nice.  I’ve been around the campus my whole life in Raleigh but seeing the facilities and meeting the coaching staff was good.  I love Coach Keatt’s energy.”

He also has a few other visits that he is setting up as of right now. Right now, he has locked in visits to LSU and back to Virginia. He is also trying to work on getting to Illinois and Virginia Tech again. Langdon will also be going to NC State since it is right around the corner.

Excitement about the upcoming season at Millbrook:

“I’m super excited about the upcoming season. I think we have the talent to win a state championship which is my main goal. I also want to get all my teammates offers. For me personally, I want to break the school scoring record and prove I’m the best player in North Carolina.”
