There were plenty of players that headlined what was a great weekend of basketball at the Phenom Queen City Showcase, but one player that really impressed once again and had a big showing was 2024 6'6 Tyler Showalter with BSA Supreme.

Showalter has been in the spotlight before with Phenom Hoops, and is coming off a solid high school season at Butler in which he averaged 10ppg, 5.0rpg, 2.1apg, 1.4spg, and 1.0bpg.  But this could be the summer that Showalter takes his game to another level and display his full potential; he showed a glimpse of that this past weekend in Rock Hill.

Playing with BSA Supreme again this summer, Showalter displayed his ability to be an effective weapon in so many areas with his game. With his 6'6 frame, he shows that he can be an effective shooter from mid-range and from three, but also grabbed our attention with how aggressive he was being in getting and finishing at the rim as well.  But, much like he did this high school season, Showalter is able to impact the game and fill up the stat sheet in other ways as well whether it is on the boards, defending multiple positions, being active defensively, and getting others involved/bringing that team-mentality.

Showalter is a skilled prospect that has plenty of potential, and it seems like he is starting to really hit his stride early on in showing how effective he can be. We have a feeling that this won't be the last time you hear his name, as his stock seems to be rising and he should only continue to build off what was a tremendous weekend for him.
