2024 6'5 Micah Robinson from Oak Hill has been a player catching the eyes of our scouts on multiple occasions and he did just that once again at the George Lynch Invitational. After posting another impressive showing with 18 points, 11 rebounds, and 2 steals, we had this to say about his game:

'There is just something that I like when watching Robinson in action. The 6'5 athletic prospect brings a ton of versatility to the floor and is one that just knows how to fill up the stat sheet when he is on the court. Impacting the game on the boards, flying high to finish multiple throwdowns, stepping out confidently from three, and being able to play multiple positions, Robinson knows just how to make the most of his minutes on the floor.'

Coming from Southern Cal Academy to Oak Hill this year, Robinson has quickly stamped his name for this team and has become one of the go-to leaders.  Phenom Hoops spoke with Robinson about his time so far at Oak Hill and more about his game, while also checking in on the latest with his recruitment. See what he had to say about the latest.

Phenom: How has everything been going at Oak Hill this year so far and playing for that storied program'
Robinson: It has been really great so far. We have gotten off to a quick start on the year and I feel like we are all getting better by the day. I feel my game has improved so much from Day 1 just because of the competition and talent levels in practice.

Phenom: How has it helped your game that you have seen'
Robinson: Mainly my decision-making and scoring ability. Being able to decipher when to pass and when to look for my own shot has been something that my coaches and teammates have been pressing on me, so I feel that is one of the main things I've improved the most on since I've been here.

Phenom: How would you best describe your game and your impact'
Robinson: My game is very versatile. I feel I could be thrown in 1-5 offensively, even defensively depending on the other team's personnel. I am capable of handling the ball and creating looks for myself and my teammates. Combining that with my physical ability, it creates a lot of mismatches for opposing defenders. On top of that, I’ve developed a consistent jumper from the outside, so once I really get that going, I’m going to be a problem for a lot of people. I take pride in my defense, so I feel I make an impact on defense, whether that be snagging defensive rebounds or making small plays like getting deflections and things of that sort.

Phenom: Who would you say has been recruiting you the hardest these days'
Robinson: I would say LSU, Arkansas, TCU, Vanderbilt, Cal, Kansas, Virginia, and Texas A&M.

Phenom: Any visits coming up'
Robinson: In the works of officials with TCU and Cal.

Phenom: Any set dates yet'
Robinson: No sir, not yet.

Phenom: What other schools have been expressing strong interest your way'
Robinson: Some of the ones listed that haven't offered yet were Arkansas, Vanderbilt, Cal, and Virginia, so I would say those four.

Phenom: When would you ultimately be looking to decide'
Robinson: Ideally, I would like to towards the start of my senior year or depending on how some things go, possibly the end of my junior year.
