Another big-time name is off the table here in North Carolina, as one of the top players in the country, 2024 Jayden Quaintance, just announced that he would be headed to Kentucky.

Quaintance is a 6’10 prospect with a tremendous skillset at his size, as he shows that he can be a dominant figure on the court, checks off a lot of boxes, brings a tremendous frame to the court, his ability to score from all three levels on the court and his athleticism. The 2024 prospect has so much to offer to the court, which is why he is regarded as one of the top players in the country and a potential NBA prospect down the road.

The Wildcats have had tremendous success already in the Class of 2024, with Travis Perry, Boogie Fland, and Somto Cyril already committed, and now Kentucky has added yet another premier talent to make this one of the best classes in the country.

We watched Quaintance recently with Team USA, where we had this to say:

“2025 Jayden Quaintance (USA) was another player I wanted to check out more, as the 6’10 big man has been making an impression with his play on so many. He checks off a lot of boxes, as he moves well, can step out, has a strong feel, is quicker than many may think, and made his presence felt on the boards and also on the defensive end with multiple blocks.”
