A player that I believe had one of the biggest LIVE periods at the Phenom Challenge and Phenom Hoops LIVE was 2024 6'5 Amari Latham.  Latham is coming off a very strong high school season in which he posted averages of 18.8ppg, 8.4rpg, 2.1apg, and 2.5spg, as he helped lead Goldsboro to a tremendous season.

For what he provides on the court, those are impressive numbers and for the most part, he can be a versatile piece on the court and impacts the game in a variety of ways. This is what we had to say after the Phenom Challenge:

'Talk about a breakout event, Latham is one that I've personally spoken about on several occasions and has said to watch out for him; believe he is underrated in what he provides and his intrigue. Well, he showed that and more in the event, guarding bigger prospects, helping out on the glass as he has in high school, and showing his impact in getting to or operating around the rim as well as more of his outside game. Latham had a huge weekend, and if you watched his games, he should easily be a player now on the radar for so many schools.'

What we have really noticed about this summer with Latham is that he is getting a bigger opportunity to show how diverse his game can be on the court. He is getting more opportunities for his ability to step outside, create and make plays off the bounce, his ability to play multiple positions, and his ability to guard multiple positions as well.' Latham has filled it up consistently, is not afraid to battle on the boards, and uses his athleticism well to his advantage.

All this is why I believe he is one that should get more views his way from college coaches.
