Team Charlotte is loaded once again this year, no matter what team you look at.  Taking a look at the 16u team, you have the likes of names like Jordan Crawford, Davion Cunningham, Mekhi Grant, Daniel Sanford, Jeremy Gregory, and several others that are being recruited at the highest levels already.

However, one player continues to show his excellent play so far this summer, as 2023 5'11 Trey Green has been a playmaker and a leader on the court.

At times, it can be fair to say that Green gets overlooked in a loaded 2023 class but this young point guard showed an array of ways that he can impact the game on the floor.

Green continues to get stronger and gets after it on both ends of the floor.' He has worked on his bounce, finishing at the rim, while also showing great poise offensively.' Green plays with a strong feel to his game and understands how to initiate the offense in the half-court or in transition.' His ability to play under control, keeping his eyes up to find his teammates but also being able to go get a bucket when called upon is one that should capture the eyes of many.

He simply gets the job done, whether he needs to score or facilitate.

Green though is still regarded as one of the premier talents in the state for his class but as mentioned, he sometimes gets overlooked by other names.'

However, with his play at the Queen City Showcase and Phenom Challenge, displaying his ability to lead the charge on offense, score in multiple ways, and be a big-time defender, Green will be one coaches will want to start getting on now.
