Down in South Carolina at Irmo high school, you will be able to find a talented guard in 2022 Dylan Williams, a name we are quite familiar with.  He has been one of the clear leaders on the court for the Yellowjackets this season, as they ended the year with a 25-5 record and made a deep run into the playoffs.

On the season, Williams has been posting averages of 15.8ppg, 3.4rpg, 4.0apg, and 2.0spg and in speaking with him, he believes his game has really improved in a lot of areas and he has shown that this year.

'Consistency is what I bring the most on the court,' Williams told Phenom Hoops.  'Good games after good games. I can provide everything (on the court); playmaking, scoring, rebounding. I play to win.'

The unsigned senior seems to be still catching the attention of college programs out there, as he recently added an offer from Maine, a school that has been keeping track of him and his game for much of the season.

'It feels good that schools haven't counted me out yet,' Williams said.  'That they trust I can help with their program.  They have been following me throughout this season and (they liked) that my leadership on the court is great.'

Right now, the senior guard holds offers from High Point, Presbyterian, USC-Aiken, North Georgia, Claflin, Miles, Mid-America Nazarene, and Maine now, with schools like Canisius, St. Peters, St. Francis Brooklyn, Weber, and Long Beach State have all been staying in strong contact with him.

As far as a deadline comes though for the senior guard from South Carolina, Williams says that he could be targeting around April to decide unless something changes.

'(I'm looking for) somewhere I can go and make an impact on a team.'

SC Top 80 Evaluation:

'Starting things off, we look at a player that is widely known and acknowledged for his electric approach and scoring ability, Dylan Williams. He's a tough, heady lead guard prospect with quickness, penetration instincts, and perimeter shooting from mid-range and beyond the arc. Williams makes quality decisions with the ball in his hands and will seize available scoring opportunities whenever possible. He defends well, especially for his size, and is capable of forcing turnovers and pushing transition play with regularity. Next in his development process is working on his ability to move without the ball, as it would allow him to play alongside another primary ball-handler with less resistance. Coach Staley on Williams: 'Dylan is a floor general with the ability to score. He can maneuver well through traffic and keep his teammates involved. Dylan displayed a positive attitude and team-first approach throughout the day.' Williams proved to be an asset during his time at camp and should be poised for another productive season as a leader for Irmo.'
