One of the top-ranked players in the country, 2022 6'2 Amiya Joyner (Farmville Central) recently announced her Top 5 list as East Carolina, Clemson, North Carolina, Pittsburgh, and Auburn all made her list.'

Ranked as a 4-star prospect and one of the premier talents in North Carolina, Phenom Hoops spoke to Joyner to break down her thoughts and relationship with each school that made her list.

East Carolina: 'I have a tight relationship with all four coaches and some of the players up there.  Coach McNeill is an amazing coach and she keeps it all real, that is what I love about her.'

Clemson: 'Coach Joy keeps it real and I can talk to her about anything. She tells me what I need to work on and improve on.' Coach Butler is also an amazing coach.'

North Carolina: 'The history speaks for itself, so many great players have come through there.  Coach Banghart is a great coach.  Coach Aluka-White and I have had a great relationship for a while now.'

Pittsburgh: 'Coach White is a very energetic, love that about him. Very good coach. I like what he is building in Pittsburgh.'

Auburn: 'I like what they are building there; also have great coaches.'

Joyner informed Phenom Hoops that she could be looking to make her final decision before the basketball season starts or possibly in the middle of the season.  But she knows some key factors that will ultimately go into her decision.

'Best relationship with the coaching staff and players, great academics, nice campus, and a team and coach that fits my playing style.'
