Rewind back to this past fall, which nowadays seems like forever ago, Phenom Hoops held our Tennessee Phenom 150 camp which brought players from around the area and multiple states to Kingsport, Tennessee to showcase their talent.
Many players made a name for themselves that day but one of the more intriguing players that came through the camp was 2022 7’3 Bol Kuir.
At the camp, we had this to say about the young big:
“He’s a long, wiry post prospect with incredible size and a blossoming two-way skillset. Kuir displays solid touch and feel around the basket, which makes him incredibly difficult to guard at his stature. He has quality hands and ran the floor exceptionally well in transition. Kuir plays with a strong motor, actively pursuing rebounds and protecting the rim with poise.”
In speaking with people around Kuir, the 2022 prospect has continued to put in the work, developing his game and looking to get stronger. Kuir has added weight and is finishing better around the rim.
When we got a chance to watch him at the camp, there were a few factors that jumped out with his blend of length and mobility. The rising junior showcased touch with his jumper as well.
With his 7’3 size and mobility on the court, there is potential with Kuir and it will be interesting to see how he continues to develop his overall game.
