Already a Top-100 prospect in the country, 6’9 Isaac Traudt has seen his recruitment continue to rise of the last few months as programs around the country are recruiting him hard.

It certainly has been an unreal experience for Traudt but one that he certainly feels blessed to be in.  Right now, he currently has a variety of options when it comes to playing at the next level and he is enjoying the opportunity in developing relationships with each program.

At the end of April, he received an offer from Kansas State and it has only continued to grow with high-major offers. He would say the biggest difference in his game over time has been his ability to showcase his versatility, guarding multiple positions, and being 6’9.

His latest offer came from Virginia Tech and he likes what he has heard early on.

“I think it’s a great program with good coaches in a great conference in the ACC,” he told Phenom Hoops.  “Coach Young said I fit their style of play well and they need someone at my position in my class.”

The Hokies now join Minnesota, Creighton, Oklahoma, Notre Dame, Wisconsin, Stanford, Iowa State, Oklahoma State, Missouri, and Nebraska in programs that have all offered in the last two months. All of the programs continue to say much of the same thing, saying they like his blend of skill set on the court.

“Just that they love my size, skill, potential, and overall character as a person,” he replied.  “A lot of schools like those qualities, so I think that is why I am receiving these opportunities.”

Schools like Illinois, Colorado, Purdue, Clemson, Marquette, Oregon, Gonzaga, and Virginia could be the next schools to offer, as they have also expressed strong interest his way.

With plenty of time when it comes to his final decision, Traudt is looking for the right fit for him on the court and with the relationship he has developed with a program.  He wants a place to feel like home.

More schools should be coming his way with offers but the Top-100 prospect is already looking to be a high-priority for schools around the country for the Class of 2022.
