A new name in North Carolina is quickly capturing the eyes of college coaches, as he earned his first two offers recently. 2021 6'5 Tyler Lundblade from Greensboro Day is a prospect that recently transferred from Texas and looks to be a big-time prospect in the state of NC.

Phenom Hoops recently got its first glimpse of Lundblade recently at an open gym and it was quickly recognized that he is a prospect that college coaches will love, which didn't take too long with his first two offers on the board.

This was said about his game:

'Coming from Texas, Lundblade will be a critical piece to this team early on and all throughout the season. He brings good size at 6'5 and just getting our first look at him, he looks like he could be one of the vocal leaders for this team. As far as his game, this kid is a knockdown shooter from all areas of the court. Lundblade has a smooth, high release and understands how to impact the game in multiple ways.'

Lundblade would say that he has quickly caught on at Greensboro Day with his teammates and the overall transition from Texas to North Carolina has gone pretty smooth.

But it certainly is nice that with just a few weeks with his new program, college coaches are already catching on as FIU and Charlotte offered him first.

'It felt really good and it was almost a sense of relief,' he replied.  'It feels good to prove myself here, knowing that I didn't get a lot of that recognition back in Texas.'  And it could just be the start, as schools like Wake Forest, Virginia, Appalachian State, SMU, Utah State, and Washington State have also expressed general interest his way.

'They all want to get out and see me play but with the extended dead period, nobody can really get out,' he said.  'Most of those schools were going to watch me play this summer, then this fall, and now hopefully early next year but we will see what happens.'

Lundblade has quickly made his presence known in North Carolina and with college coaches, and this could just be the start for this 2021 prospect.
