2021 6'0 Collin Mills has been a name used frequently when talking about player standouts at several Phenom Hoops events this summer, as he has been one of the catalysts for Team Vision NC.

Here are just a few words of what has been said about Mills' performances so far:

'Mills was the main scoring threat for Team Vision, showing his ability to score on multiple levels.' Whether it was spotting up from the perimeter with a smooth outside shot, attacking and pulling up with a mid-range shot, or attacking the rim, Mills was able to do it multiple ways.' He doesn't try to force anything on the court and plays with a nice feel for the game.'

'There's a lot to like about Team Vision, especially when Mills is effectively leading the charge on both ends of the floor. He's a great defender with quickness and positioning, which allows him to frequently force turnovers and get out in transition. Mills typically works more as a penetrator but knocked down numerous difficult jumpers throughout this showing. He should have scholarship-coaches in pursuit.'

And these are just a few words from our scouts over the last few weeks.' To put it all together, Mills has been impressive with his play and feel for the game.' Which is why it was interesting to see that he still hadn't received an offer, until recently when New Orleans gave him his first offer.

'It's definitely a blessing,' he told Phenom Hoops.' 'There were times I thought I wouldn't play college ball, but I just stayed low key and patient and kept working.' They told me about their style and how I could help them.' They liked that I can score the ball and defend.' They also said I could be a big factor if I came in because they are losing several senior guards.'

It is always a special blessing to receive your first offer but getting a better glimpse of Mills, he will continue to be patient and put in the work.  With his ability though to be an effective guard and lead the way on both ends of the floor, as well as score the ball, more schools could be coming his way.

His recruitment could be much like his older brother's, Caleb Mills who is at Houston.' It took some time before Caleb's recruitment started to take off and Collin could take a similar path as well.

But right now, New Orleans has offered while schools like Arm, Wichita State, Mars Hill, UNC-Asheville, Mount Olive, and Middle Tennessee have all shown interest his way.
