One of the top, still uncommitted prospects in the 2019 class announced that he would be ending his recruitment on Monday.

Trendon Watford, a 6’9 prospect from Birmingham, Alabama, announced his commitment to LSU, giving the Tigers their third commitment for 2019.  Watford, who is regarded as the top commitment so far for head coach Will Wade, now joins guards James Bishop and Charles Manning.

“I want to sincerely thank everybody who recruited me through out this entire process,” Watford said on Twitter. “This by far has been the biggest and toughest decision of my life but with great support and prayer from my family and closest friends, I will be attending Louisiana State University.”
