TRENDING at the #Phenom150

From the get-go, freshman guard Deshawn Corprew playe his way onto the national stage at the NC Phenom 150 camp.

The 6-foot-5 wing from Hampton (Va.) Phoebus High School was the talk amongst the evaluators because of his scoring touch, his versatility and his ability to get to the rim. It didn’t take long for Corprew’s name to start trending.

Clearly, he impressed.

What motivates the class of 2016 prospect to perform at a high-level against older players? Simple. He just wants to get better.

“I know I’m one of the youngest players out there and I want to try to get better by playing the older players,” Corprew said.

If that was his goal, then consider the mission accomplished.
