Phenom’s NC Exposure Camp
Session 2
Player Recaps, Team 20

#21 5’9 ’19 Zack Brawley (Mount Ulla, NC)
Brawley came into camp with a great attitude and did a great job taking to the coaching provided to him throughout the day. He gave great effort and moved well, offensively when he didn't have the ball in his hands. His best attributes on the court were his shot making abilities, his ability to defend both on and off the ball and his vision and rebounding skills for his position. As Brawley continues to grow his game he will continue to improve as a player.

#60 5’11 ’20 Nicholas Conlan (Greer, SC)
Conlan came into camp with a great concept of team play, on both ends of the floor. He was solid in all aspects of the game as he displayed a great feel for the game. He was great moving without the ball, on the offensive end of the floor. He has good footwork and he sees the floor very well. As he continues to work on his game, the continued progression of his lateral quickness will help him on the defensive end of the floor.

#61 5’11 ’21 Joe Dilly (Mooresville, NC)
Dilly came into camp displaying a great attitude. He was eager to apply the coaching that was provided to him, into the game setting. Dilly's best basketball attributes were his shot making ability, his transition defense and his ability to move without the ball on the offensive end. As he continues to work on his overall game, his game will continue to grow on the court.

#100 6'1' 2019 Elbert Ellis of Mt Zion (Durham, NC)
Ellis displayed a high basketball IQ and gave a great effort, on both sides of the floor, throughout the game. He displayed good passing skills, getting the ball to his teammates on point and on time and was a very good defender both on and off the ball. He is a highly explosive player with a good handle and is a good finisher at the rim.

#101 6’1 ’18 Blan Hodges (Hiddnite, NC)
Hodges came into camp with a great concept of team play. While he was able to create for himself, he made a concerted effort to get everyone on his team involved. He is a great team mated, he cheered his team on when he wasn't in the game. From the point guard position, Hodges has good vision and the ability to make shots with deep, and consistent, range. As he continues to get stronger, his will become even more effective on the defensive end.

#140 6’2 ’18 Abba Wague (Rabun Gap, GA)
Wague is came into camp giving a great attitude throughout the day. He is a very good shooter, both off the dribble and in catch and shoot situations. Wague plays well within himself, showing a one dribble pull up. But his quick release and great form on his jump shot is his calling card. As he continues to stay consistent on both ends of the floor, his game will go to another level.

#141 6’2 ’18 Bryson Watlington (Greensboro, NC)
Watlington took very well to the coaching provided to him and came into camp with a great concept of team play. He has a solid all around skill set and makes a lot of winning plays on both ends of the floor. His best attributes on the court are his transition defense, his footwork and his ability to move without the ball offensively. He has the upside with his length to be a very good defender.

#180 6'10' 2019 Chester Makoi of Mt Zion (Durham, NC)
Makoi carries about as much natural talent as we have seen in these camps over the last few years. The lefty has a great skill set along the perimeter and is very crafty, when he sets up on the block, around the rim. Makoi has great touch, extending out to the 3-point line and he has great length and quick twitch athleticism. As he continues to get stronger his consistency will rise, the sky can be the limit with this one.

#196 6'8' 2018 Kevin Obanor of Mt Zion (Durham, NC)
Obanor played with a motor that was unparalleled by anyone in camp. He is physically strong and explosive and played with the purpose of rebounding, blocking and dunking everything, every chance he had. Obanor was a pleasure to coach, he was a great leader for his team. He is a high level rebounder, a trait which will translate well to the Division 1 level. Obanor runs the floor well and carries a great motor on both ends of the floor. A sure fire Division 1 player who will offer college coaches someone who loves the dirty work, and does it at a high level.
