My son Anthanee was a camper at the Adidas Phenom 150 camp for three years. All three years were a learning experience and he was able to play against, and with some of the best talent in the country. Rick’s camp is not for the weak, his first year out he did okay. The 2009/10 Camp had Andrew White (Kansas) and a host of other big time names, I mention him because I don’t think he missed a jump shot the entire camp. Anthanee talked about going to the camp the next year and wanting to play against a kid that had got the best of him during a game.
The next year he was able to play against Josh Newkirk (Louisville) the best point guard in the state for his class and see how well he matched up. This was when he started to believe he could play with the best. Although he didn’t get any press, his confidence was high. His Jr. year he would be placed on a team with T.J. Warren (N.C. State) his eyes lit up and he was trying to impress Warren one of the top recruits in the class of 2012. He did well that year leading his High School team to their first appearance in the state tournament.
I don’t believe any of this would have happen if he had he not participated at the Phoenom camp. The coaches, the system, and the talent that this camp is able to draw is awesome. If your child has a drive and wants to become the best he can be, this camp will spark that fire. The Adidas Phenom 150 Camp is a must!
All that work paid off with a full scholarship to the University of Tennessee Chattanooga. The Chattanooga coach did his research on my son and called everyone that he knew had lengthy contact with Anthanee, Rick was on that list. These camps can open doors, and make dreams come true. One game, at the right time, with the right people watching, and a chance to show what you have is what this camp offers your child to make his dream come true. Rick’s camp and instruction along with, his observation helped my child’s dream come true.
Thank you Rick!

Rick, thx for your leadership/organizational skills in WS yesterday. A lot of good talent there. Occurred to me that Osandai Vaughn has played 6 scrimmages at your Spring Camp now and has been lucky enuf to be on winning team 6 times. Pretty good for a young athlete who contributed significantly in pts/assists/defense while realizing that many of the players were there for "showtime". He's back in the pre ACT study mode; glad it is he and not I! Best to you and your family. verner stanley
